Depression: rebellion, resignation and loneliness

depressionFor depression there are many remedies, tablets, syrups, therapies, teas, flower essences, and other drugs. All these are alternatives that often help boost morale and enthusiasm back. However, if we look only depression trying to control the symptoms without eradicating that which is causing, the remedies will only serve to temporarily ease the emotional pain, and also run the risk of starting a unit with them because if these not accompanied with a deep understanding of what depression is, may not give true solution to the problem.

The levels of depression may be many, and symptoms manifest in many ways: excessive tiredness, disinterest in life, apathy, drowsiness, vulnerability (feeling or being affected by all victim of circumstances), discomfort, aggression, violence, loneliness , apart from feeling, not loved or accepted sentrise, pain (both physical and emotional), and soon. What are the complications of an enlarged Prostate?

A bladder that does not drain properly increases the risk of urinary tract infection and kidney problems. Some men who suffer from BPH are victims of urinary stones in the bladder or recurrent infections. There is sometimes problems of urinary retention and, very occasionally, a complete blockage of the urethra is a medical emergency: the acute urinary retention. In some patients, urinary problems associated with BPH have negative psychological consequences of their sexuality.

In general, the symptoms of BPH are sufficiently minor not to warrant treatment and they do not worsen with time. Only 15% of cases of BPH require medical treatment to avoid complications.

Burning Stomach Pain

The sensations of bitterness or burning stomach pain are the most frequent. Beyond the age of fifty years, nearly half the population suffers. When casual – after a hearty meal, for example, these feelings have nothing to be alarmed. But if they occur regularly after each meal, they justify a medical consultation.

What are the symptoms of heartburn?

Burn and regurgitation is manifested by a painful sensation in the stomach area after a meal. The pain sometimes radiates behind the sternum, and even into the throat. The bitterness is often accompanied by references acids or coughing, especially at night. Sometimes the pains are stronger when we are down, as we look forward, as it goes down, or during physical exertion. Doctors call these heartburn symptoms.

Symptoms of Heartburn

Call your doctor if:

  • You start having heartburn at the age of 50 years or more
  • Swallowing is difficult or painful
  • You vomit blood
  • Your stools are black or contain blood
  • You lose weight (more than 5% of your usual weight)
  • You palpate a mass in your abdomen
  • You have trouble breathing
  • You are dizzy or have vertigo
  • You have pain in the neck, jaw, shoulder or arm
  • Your pain accompanied by sweating
  • You have frequent heartburn (more than twice per week)

Heartburn Are they associated with heart attacks?

No, not heart attacks. But sometimes, pain in the chest can be interpreted as heartburn, so it is in fact a sign of heart disease. It is also possible that the heartburn is the first sign of a complication such as bleeding ulcer. If you think you have heartburn, but you have any of the above symptoms, call your doctor.

Other Drugs to Relieve Heartburn?

Several types of medications can be used to treat heartburn. From time to time, you can use antacids in the case of simple heartburn. The acid blockers, called H2 antagonists, may relieve heartburn. Some are available over the counter, such as ranitidine (Zantax), cimetidine (Tagamet), famotidine (Pepcid) and nizatidine (Axid). If any of these medications can not relieve your heartburn, you can also try the pump inhibitors or PPIs, proton. These drugs reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach are omeprazole (Losec), the pantoprozole (Pantoloc), lansoprazole (Prevecid) and esomeprazole (Nexium). These drugs are expensive but are often effective while others are not. Some people also need treatment for stomach emptying as metoclopramide (Maxeran) or domperidone (Motilium) is also called agents of motility. Ask your doctor what drug is best for you.

Diagnosis And Treatment For Acne

DIAGNOSIS:

This is done by inspection of the lesions.

TREATMENT:

Treatment is generally medical.
In some cases, and residual lesions may be indicated abrasion, chemical or physical, of the surface layers of the skin (peeling).

General measures

Yes do you have oily skin:

Gently massage the face with a soap without essences over a period of 3-5 minutes.
Do not massage over painful parts.
Clean the skin gently.
Do not use abrasives.
Desecrationfor 1 to 2 minutes.
Sometimes an antibacterial soap would also.
Apply a disinfectant such as alcohol and degreaser to remove grease after washing.

Acne

Acne is a skin disease, common among adolescents, characterized by eruptions on the face, chest and back.

Sex

More common in boys than girls.

CAUSES

The oil glands of the skin are blocked for reasons unknown, but changes in sex hormones experienced by adolescents play an unequivocal role.
When fat is tight, it starts to become infected by bacteria normally present in the glands.
Acne is not caused by dirt or by masturbation, or by food.
The cleaning can help it, but sexual activity has no effect on it.

SYMPTOMS

It is characterized by the appearance of the following lesions (greater than mild to more severe) in the skin, usually on the cheeks, forehead and back:

Blackheads (black dots the size of the head of a pin)
Whiteheads (white dots similar to black)
Pustules (pus small lesions)
Cysts (larger swelling of the skin) and
Abscess (swollen glands in a small infected area containing pus), only in severe cases. (more…)

Heartburn

HeartburnHeartburn, indigestion, and “heartburn” are some of the terms used to describe these gastrointestinal disturbances.

Causes

Hyperacidity is caused by an irritation of the stomach or esophagus (the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach). The stomach lining is protected against the effects of gastric juices in the digestive process involved, but some factors such as alcohol, fatty foods, caffeine, certain medications and stress, can destroy this defense. The heartburn discomfort usually associated with power and position of a person, but may also occur with gastro esophageal reflux symptoms.

Some factors may contribute to the problem of acidity, such as overweight and pregnancy. Smokers also have higher chances of developing this disease. (more…)

Risk And Treatment of Stroke

All those that influence cardiovascular disease:

Hypertension,
Diabetes,
Smoking,
Obesity and
High cholesterol.

In addition, some strokes as embolic stroke, are caused by valvular heart disease and cardiac arrhythmias, hence, the importance of controlling.

PREVENTION

Control the risk factors mentioned.

From a preventive point of view the above AIT are very important, as they often precede more serious injuries, and indicate the need to establish a preventive medical treatment, usually based on low-dose aspirin. (more…)
